Display Dimmer
This panel allows you to modify TFT brightness, and to view the current light intensity and also to change minimum
desired brightness of the display. When in the Automa c Mode, TFT brightness is regulated by the AITP using the ex-
ternal light intensity reading. For every light intensity value, from 0 to 7, the corresponding Dimmer intensity is taken
and used to set the brightness. It is possible to modify the minimum automa c brightness of the display, according to
customer preferences. This is an AITP setup. When the Manual Dimmer Mode is used, the brightness can be regulated
from this panel or from the user applica on, calling the corresponding func on in the supplied DLL.
Hardware Keyboard
With this tab you can check the func onality of each of the 9 hardware keys and LEDs.
The keys are not mapped to Windows, but are accessible to customer applica on using the AITP libraries.
Odometer Input
The AITP also provides Odometer func onali es to the applica ons, if car odometer signal (distance pulses) is con-
nected. Travelled distance can be either read, or read & reset by DLL func ons. This can be done either by polling or
ac va ng a trigger so that is the AITP that periodically sends odometer info to the customer applica on, using the
AITP libraries.
