Other basic setting is to set the APN:
Select RAS1 (for sim1) or RAS2 (for sim2) and select your operator, if your operator is not on the drop down list you
have to manually insert the APN and other data.
WARNING: Be extremely careful in changing RAS Entry Name, if you make a mistake Connection service won’t
start, this parameter usually hasn’t to be edited, so change only APN, user and password.
Save will make the parameters available from next restart
If you press LOAD parameters will be loaded in that moment and connection will be reset.
If special user name and password are required which are not fixed there is the possibility to load an assembly that
real time evaluates the credentials
In the configurator you can also edit the other parameters, you can edit them also changing the xml file:
“\Hard Disk\SysApps\ConnectionService\Xmls\ConnectionServiceCfg.xml”
Beware that the file will bad formatted Service may not start.
To copy the configuration between terminals simply you can copy this xml file
If you click on the systray icon a form will appear that shows you current signal level and several options:

On the SDK you will find the ConnectionService.Sample solution, it contains the source code of a sample program
that shows you all the basic function that you may need.

Troubleshooting
The connection service by now will only manage RAS connection it may happen that RAS is connected but the
internet connection isn’t working (this may be the case of a signal loss), windows may take a lot of time to discon-
nect RAS, so in your application if you see that connection isn’t working you may force RAS to disconnect (the ser-
vice will automatically try to reconnect it) with the connection service client command RasRestart().
