Hook the projections on left and right of the battery pack with your
fingernail and lift up in the arrow direction to remove.

To remove the battery pack, hook the projections on left and right of the
battery pack with your fingernail and pull it up.
Lifting up from other than the projections might cause damage the main
unit or connection part of the battery pack.
micro au IC-Card
Your phone number etc. is recorded in the
micro au IC-Card.
The product supports only with a micro au
IC-Card. au IC-Card is not available.

Note the following points, otherwise handling the micro au IC-Card may
cause malfunction or damage.
• Try not to touch the IC (metal) part of the micro au IC-Card or the IC card
terminal inside the URBANO PROGRESSO.
• Insert in the correct direction.
• Do not use force to attach or remove.
◎
Before removing micro au IC-Card, be sure to remove a power plug
of specified AC adapter (sold separately) etc. from the URBANO
PROGRESSO.
◎
When a micro au IC-Card is not attached properly or micro au IC-Card is
abnormal, an error message appears.
◎
Do not lose the micro au IC-Card after it has been removed.
◎
Do not insert a micro au IC-Card with a conversion adapter. Doing so may
cause a fault.

What if your micro au IC-Card is not inserted?
You cannot use the product inserting other than micro au IC-Card.
If you turn the power on without micro au IC-Card, the following
operations

• Making

/Receiving a call
• Sending/Receiving SMS (C-mail)
• Making initial settings for E-mail (

@ezweb.ne.jp), sending and
receiving Emails
• Setting up UIM card lock
• Checking My phone number/Email address
*1 Besides the operations mentioned above, the operations which need your phone number etc.
may not be available.
*2 Emergency calls to 110 (Police), 119 (Fire and Ambulance) or 118 (Regional Coast Guard
Headquarters) cannot be made.

Restriction setting by PIN code
For using micro au IC-Card, changing PIN code or UIM card lock
can restrict use by others in the purpose of protecting personal
information. (
