Enter a phone number
When calling to a fixed-line phone, enter the phone number starting
with the area code even if you are in the same area.

Check your number in [My phone number].
Also, you can check your phone number from the Contacts.

If you cover the screen by your face etc. while dialing/calling, the display
turns off for preventing false operation.
◎
Call charges when adding "1401" are deducted from the money registered
in your au prepaid card.
◎
Do not cover noise canceling microphone with your finger etc.
◎
Note that even if you cover the microphone, the sound can be conveyed
to the other party.
◎
Even when Airplane Mode is set to on, you can make calls to emergency
services (110, 119, 118).

• Call with cell phones, PHS, and car phones throughout Japan
• 010 (au International Call Service: Subscription is unnecessary)
• 171 (Voice mail for countermeasures against disaster)
• 177 (Weather forecast: The area code is necessary)
• 117 (Time signal)
• 104 (Directory assistance)
• 115 (Sending telegrams)
• 110 (Emergency call to Police)*
• 119 (Emergency call to Fire and Ambulance)*
• 118 (Emergency call to Regional Coast Guard Headquarters)*
• 157 (Customer Service Center)
• Maritime telephone
* The numbers are emergency call numbers. This product supports "Emergency call
location notification" so that if you make an emergency call to the police, fire station or
Regional Coast Guard Headquarters, your current location will be transmitted to the
agency receiving the emergency call.
