• Do not use the product in a bathroom for an extended period
of time. The product is not moistureproof.
Keep the bathroom at or below a temperature of 40
℃
and a
humidity of 99%. Also, avoid using the product continuously
for more than an hour in the bathroom. After getting out of the
bathroom, be sure to drain and dry the product (

P. 51). Be
aware that not all features of the product are guaranteed to
keep working in a bathroom.
• Extreme changes in temperature cause condensation. Before
taking the product from the cold into a warm bathroom, wait
until the product reaches room temperature. Also, if the
product has warmed up in a bathroom, do not expose it to
cold water. Doing so may allow water into the product.
• If condensation occurs on the inside of the display or
camera lens, leave the product at room temperature until the
condensation disappears.
• Be careful not to expose the product to extremely hot water.
The maximum allowable water temperature is 43

. The
product is not resistant to hot temperatures.
• Do not expose the product to hot water unless it is tap water.
• If bathwater gets on the product, wash it off with tap water.
<At a poolside>
• Do not immerse or drop the product in pool water. Also, do not
use the product underwater.
• If the product gets splashed with pool water, immediately rinse
it off with tap water

You can use the product in the kitchen and other places where
water is used.

The product is not resistant to hot temperatures.

Do not place the product in an area that becomes extremely hot
or cold, such as near a stove or in a refrigerator.
• Place the product on a stable surface when using it as a TV.

Common precautions
Earphone microphone terminal cover, external connection
terminal cover, and card slot cover
Make sure that the earphone microphone terminal cover,
external connection terminal cover, and card slot cover are firmly
closed. Just a small particle (a hair, a grain of sand, etc.) on the
seals can cause water leak.
Do not open or close the earphone microphone terminal cover,
external connection terminal cover, or card slot cover with gloved
hands. Just a small particle (a hair, a grain of sand, etc.) on the

each of the covers with a clean, dry cloth before closing it.
