To Begin
1. Remove the lid from the bowl and fill with ground
corn cob media approximately two-thirds full or 26mm
from the top edge of the bowl.
2. When filling with new, fresh media, dispense up to
1/3 of a bottle or 80 ml. of Dillon Rapid Polish 290 in a
circular pattern.
3. Run the unit for one to two minutes to mix the pol-
ish and media.
4. Blue specks should appear throughout the media, if
not, you may need to add additional polish. Rerun unit to
mix.
5. You can run the unit with just a few empty cases, or
you can fill it to capacity. The volume is determined by
the size and length of the cases, see chart below.
6. Normal run time is one to one and a half hours or
until the desired effect is achieved.

Media
Use ground walnut shell media when cleaning badly
tarnished brass cases. Walnut media is more abrasive
than corn media and should be used in conjunction
with Dillon Rapid Polish 290. After about two hours of
tumbling, the brass cases will appear to have a satin
finish. Use the corn media after the cases have been
cleaned with walnut media to achieve a bright brass
finish.
You can also mix these two medias at about a 50/50
ratio along with Rapid Polish 290 and those lightly
stained or tarnished cases can be cleaned to a nice
shine. Corn media alone can be used for standard
cleaning purposes.
Be aware that media does wear out. When the
media appears dark gray or black and the inside wall of
the tumbling bowl is stained dark gray or black, it is
time to change the media and clean the bowl. Throw
out the old media. Use a towel damped with a soap
and water solution to clean the tumbler bowl thorough-
ly. Do not immerse in liquid to clean. Refill the tumbler
with new media.
Warning
Do not use Dillon’s Rapid Polish 290 with already
treated media.
