Operating the Fire
This section describes how to activate your fire using either the manual controls or remote control.
MANUAL CONTROLS
The manual controls are located beneath the fuelbed
(See Fig.4 for Manual Control layout)
Switch ‘A’:- Controls the electricity supply to the Fire.
Note: This switch must be in the ‘ON’ ( I ) position for the Fire to operate.
Switch ‘B’:- Press
to turn on the flame effect. This will be indicated by an audible beep. Although the main lights
operate immediately it will take a further 30 seconds before the flame effect starts.
Press to put fire in to standby mode. This will be indicated by one beep.

The remote control is supplied with 2xAA batteries. Remove the battery cover from the underside of the remote control
and fit them into place, taking note of the correct orientation of the batteries. Replace the battery cover, once the
batteries have been inserted. The remote control has already been paired to your product during factory assembly. In
the unlikely event that the remote control disconnects from the product, or you obtain a spare remote control, you will
need to complete the pairing process. Follow the steps below to pair the remote control to the product.
Pairing the Remote Control
Please follow the steps below to pair the remote control with the product.
1. Switch on the main switch of the product (Fig 4A). An audible beep will be heard and the product will start advertising
its Bluetooth signal for a period of 30 seconds.
2. Within this 30 second period, press and hold ‘Button 6 - Enter’ on the remote until ‘Pair’ appears on the display
(Fig A, below).
3. Bring the remote near the product and the product will begin flashing its lights and beeping. If this does not
happen, the 30 second advertising period may have elapsed. This can be started again by switching the product’s
main switch (Fig 4A) off for 15 seconds and back on again.
