For HR34 HD DVR & Earlier Receiver Models
In addition to the Network Requirements previously outlined, you
will need:
A wireless adapter that uses an Ethernet port to connect to
a media device, preferably the
Wireless DIRECTV CINEMA
Connection Kit
– (CCK-W).
A
wireless router
set up and initialized for your home Internet
service before you start the Internet connection sequence for
your HR34 HD DVR or earlier Receiver model.
Step 1 -
Connect your DIRECTV HR34 HD DVR (or earlier) to the
wireless adapter:
Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the back of the
wireless adapter and connect the other end of the cable to the
back of your HD DVR.
If using the DIRECTV CCK-W, follow connection instructions in
the device user manual (or go to directv.com/getconnected) to
determine proper connection.
Plug your wireless adapter in to an electrical outlet.
