BLOCKING SIMS
The VoIP²ALL has a SIM blocking feature to decrease the number of unsuccessful calls from a SIM.
When the SIM is marked
Blocked
in the SIM Server, it is unregistered from the port in the Gateway
and cannot be used until you manually unblock the SIM.
This improves the ASR by blocking SIMs that have a low call success rate.
Note: This feature is only available when using Call Duration mode.
There are four reasons that the Gateway blocks a SIM:
Reason 1
-‐ The SIM is blocked manually.
Reason 2 -‐
The SIM has made the number of consecutive unsuccessful calls defined in
Blocked
Threshold.
See
Network Announcement Message Detection
on page 55.
Reason 3 -‐
The SIM has made the number of consecutive calls that were detected as "message
announcement" defined in
Number of Detection.
See
Network Announcement Message
Detection
on page 55.
Reason 4 -‐
The SIM has tried to register unsuccessfully and reached the
SIM Registration Time
Limit
.
The status appears in
Blocked Cause
