APPENDIX A: WORKING WITH COM PORT
The Com Port connection gives you direct access to the Gateway processor.
The primary use is to see the IP address in the Gateway. This can help when the user has forgotten
the address.
Com Port is generally used for debugging and support related issues.
To connect the COM/USB Port:
1)
Connect the Com Cable from the Gateway to the PC RS232 COM Port.
2)
In the PC, open the Hyper Terminal program.
3)
Disconnect the Hyper Terminal by clicking
Disconnect.

Click then
Properties
