DDRESS
If your receiver does not respond to this remote, it may have a different
address. To make sure both the receiver and the remote have the same
address, do this.
1. Open the
Important System Information
menu.
To do this, press the receiver front panel
POWER
button to turn the receiver off, and
then press the receiver front panel SYS INFO
or
INFORMATION
button. Make sure the TV
is turned on. This will open the
Important
System Information
menu. Look for the
remote address.
Note
: If your receiver does not have a front panel
SYS INFO or an INFORMATION button, make
sure the TV is on, and pull the Smart Card out of
the receiver to open the
Important System
Information
menu.
2. Press and hold the
SAT
mode button about three
seconds, until all the mode button backlights
come on, and then release the
SAT
button.The
SAT
mode light will start flashing.
3. Use the number pad buttons to enter the number
listed after Remote Address on the
Important
System Information
screen. The
SAT
mode
button backlight turns off after you enter each
digit, and then comes on again.
4. Press the
POUND
(
#
) button. If the address you
entered is valid for the remote control, the
SAT
mode button backlight flashes three times.
