8. Turn the key to the RUN position and wait for the
glow plug light to go out. Press in and turn the
ignition key to the START position.
If the engine fails to start after 10 seconds, the
engine will stop cranking and the ignition switch
must be turned off to reset the start sequence.
When the engine starts, immediately release the
ignition key back to the run position.
NOTE: The fan will power up thirty seconds after
the ignition is turned on and will blow air through
the radiator to help clean debris from the radiator
and debris screen. The fan will then reverse and
continue in suction until the ignition is turned off.

carbon monoxide, which is an
odorless, colorless, poisonous gas.
Do not use the machine in enclosed

Set the engine speed
9. Set the engine speed with the throttle. Allow the
engine to run at a moderate speed, approximately
mid throttle, for 3-5 minutes before loading it too
heavily.
USE
FULL THROTTLE WHEN MOWING.
NOTE:
A PTO safety interlock is designed to warn
of high coolant temperature or low oil pressure
problem. If the water temperature light comes on
for more than 30 seconds, the PTO will turn off
and the buzzer will sound. The ignition switch will
need to be shut off before the PTO will reset.
If the oil pressure light stays on for more than 30
seconds after initial start up, the PTO will shut off
and the buzzer will sound. The ignition switch will
need to be completely shut off before the PTO will
reset.
