Pull pad off the shell,
starting at the top.

Pull buckle through pad.

Pad: Hand wash with
warm sudsy water, rinse
clean, air dry. Do not use
bleach or other harsh
cleaners. Do not dry
clean.

Harness Straps: Spot clean
only. Do not machine
wash.

Replace seat pad by
reversing order.
Pulling buckle through
pad, wrap pad around
bottom of shell and top
of shell. Reattach elastic
to sides of shell. Relace
harness in reverse order;
relace harness into the
adjustment brackets by
following instructions in
the “Preparing Child
Restraint to Fit Your
Child”.

Removing Seat Pad for Cleaning

Pull harness through the
slots from the front.

Unthread harness from
the harness retainer.

Unthread harness from
the buckle plate.

Pull harness from shell.

Undo elastic straps on
side of shell.

From the front of child
restraint, pull harness strap
out. Repeat for other
adjustment bracket.

Remove harness:
From the back of the child
restraint, remove free end
of harness from harness
adjustment bracket.
