8. Problem solving
In the following section, we have listed many of the problems, causes and solutions that you may
encounter in using the chipper.
If you encounter a problem that is difficult to solve even after
reading through this section, you can call DK-TEC.

The flywheel does not
turn
Blocked eject
Turn off the chipper and clean
the one for dirt
The flywheel has stopped
Clean the flywheel
Broken safety pin
Replace safety pin
Slow feeding
The knives are dull
Turn or replace the blades
The ejection spout is clogged
Clean the eject spout
The chipper requires a large
amount of force otherwise it
will stall
