14.5.
Using the touch screen
The DLoG ITC 7 devices are available with the option of a resistive touch screen.
Recommended operation of the resistive touch screen:
•
Clean, dry fingers
•
Clean, dry, soft gloves
•
Suitable touch screen pencils (plastic or wood, rounded tip, maximum 4 H
hardness)
Caution:

Inappropriate operation of the screen, for example by using sharp
objects such as screwdrivers, will irreparably damage the resistive
touch screen.
Resistive touch screens may NOT be operated with:
•
Ball point pens, pencils, or other inappropriate writing implements
•
Unsuitable touch-screen pencils (harder than 4 H)
•
Hand tools of any kind (such as a screwdriver)
•
Sharp objects (knives, scalpels, etc.) that could damage the touch surface.
