Mount the USHX onto the access fitting. First, turn the USHX clockwise by hand until some
resistance is observed. Then, use a torque wrench to tighten the USHX to 70 in-lb as shown in
Figure 2-6.

When torque wrench not available use 7/16” and 9/16” wrenches to tighten the
USHX as shown in Figure 2-7. Using two wrenches will ensure that the brazed joint is
not damaged during tightening.
Do NOT turn the power source ON during the installation of the wiring harness.

Attach the wiring harness (10-pin connector) to the USHX as shown in Figure 2-7.
If the USHX is located in a wet or potentially wet environment, apply silicone grease
inside the 10-pin connector of the wiring harness.
