•
Ensure all the castors are locked and leg rest is drawn back before transferring the
user in/ out of the equipment.
•
If the user is on the commode, castors must be locked. An unlocked commode poses
a risk of falling to the user.
•
While using the commode, footrest should be drawn out and user’s feet are to be well
rested on footrest.
•
Bucket can be removed by sliding out from rear end of the commode seat.
•
Users with limited physical strength should be supervised or assisted while using
commode.
•
Do not leave user with poor stability unattended on the commode.
CLEANING
•
Use a cloth to wipe the commode dry after use.
•
Dry out in the sun if possible.
•
Clean out debris from the castors regularly for easy manoeuvring.
