Measurements
- Open the measuring tool
and select the tool you want to use for measurements:
Angle:
Draw a measurement line by clicking on the starting point, dragging to
the end point, and clicking on the end point.
Continued line:
Draw a measurement section by clicking on the starting point
and dragging to the end point. You can then draw the next partial distance directly
from this end point. The length of each section is displayed. Finally, double-click
on the end point.
Radius:
Click on the desired centre point for a measuring circle and drag it up to
a desired radius. The radius, circumference, and area of the circle are displayed.
Diameter:
Click on the desired starting point for a measuring circle and drag it
to a desired diameter. The diameter, circumference, and area of the circle are
displayed.
3-point angle:
Click on the starting point of the angle and drag the first leg to
the desired measuring point. From there, continue to drag to the measuring point
for the second leg and finish the measurement with a click. The measurement
angle between both legs is displayed.
Properties/Units:
Under these menu items, you can set the properties for lines
and text as well as units for the measurements.
Editing
- With the
tool, you can draw or place lines, arrows, freehand drawings, and
rectangles in the image.
The line properties can be selected:
- With the
tool, you can place texts in the image after selecting the font (selection
from the fonts and font sizes available on your computer) and the font colour.

later analysis.
