Keypad unit/Separated style
●
A battery icon blinks even when FOMA terminal is
not charging.
When FOMA terminal is joined, if the battery level
of either unit becomes 1 (including the status that
the battery is almost exhausted) and if the other
unit is in battery level 3, power feeding is executed
automatically. While power feeding, a battery icon
on the unit being power fed blinks.

The keypad unit is not charged.
･
When both units turn ON and start charging, a
unit selection screen for charging with priority
appears. If "Keypad unit" is selected, charging
the keypad unit starts in first. Without any
operation for a certain period of time, charging
the display unit continues.
･
When FOMA terminal turned OFF, charging the
display unit takes precedence when using AC
adapter or DC adapter. And charging the keypad
unit takes precedence when using the desktop
holder.

When FOMA terminal is separated, the keypad
unit is not available.

Is Action when detached set to "Connection
disabled"?

When FOMA terminal is separated, it takes
approximately 4-5 seconds for preparing the
keypad unit (except for when separating while
calling and when Action when detached is set to
"Always connected").
･
If the power of keypad unit is turned off or the
unit is not recognized as a Bluetooth device,
Bluetooth connection does not start even when
separating FOMA terminal.
･
When In-call Launcher is displayed, key
operation of the keypad unit is not available. To
use function other than In-call Launcher, press
front key

for 1 second or more.
･
QWERTY keypad is not available with the keypad
unit opened.
･
If the keypad unit is detached while operating
another Bluetooth device, the keypad unit may
not be available.

Even by separating FOMA terminal during a call,
the voice call does not switch to the keypad unit.

When using in separated style, pressing power
key of the keypad unit cannot turn the power ON/
OFF.
When using FOMA terminal in separated style,

of the keypad unit cannot turn the power of
display unit ON/OFF.

When using FOMA terminal in separated style,
calling or key operation in the keypad unit is not
available.
･
When you detach the keypad unit while using
another Bluetooth device, some keypad
functions are unavailable because those profiles
cannot be used at the same time.
●
Unit search is unavailable.
･
This function is not available when Bluetooth
communication cannot be performed under such
condition as in Self mode, out of Bluetooth area,
when the keypad unit is not registered to Device
list, or when Bluetooth OFF is set.
･
If no operation time in the keypad unit continues
for a while in separated style, the keypad unit
repeats Bluetooth ON/OFF at regular interval to
reduce the power consumption. For that reason,
the keypad unit cannot be connected to the
display unit up to approximately 5 minutes and
searching from the display unit may not be
available even when the keypad unit is near.
Also, if there is no operation for more than 24
hours in the keypad unit, the power of keypad
unit turns OFF and searching is not available.
