・
For emergency call, you cannot save emergency calls (110,
119 and 118) and saved phone numbers.
・
A phone number set as an emergency number is not
changed even if corrected, overwritten or deleted in the
phonebook.

Sounding safety alarm

Turn Safety alarm switch ON.
The buzzer sounds, the light blinks, and the screen
below appears :
・
Returning the switch stops the buzzer sound.
Operations of making voice call or Location
request are then continued.

screen are displayed sequentially. If making voice
call or Location request is in the stand-by state,
the Safety alarm screen appears.

When "Alarm+Voice call" is set
If the Safety alarm is activated, a voice call is
automatically made to the emergency number.
・
Making a voice call is repeated until all other parties of
saved emergency numbers answer it.
・
When the receiver accepts a voice call, the operations
below are performed :
- The receiver hears announcement "
緊急通話です
(This is an
emergency call)". If Chaku-moji is set, "
防犯ブザー利用
(Safety alarm in use)
" is sent.
- After the announcement is played 3 times, the speakerphone
function is activated.

INFORMATION
・
During Omakase Lock; during input of PIN code at power-
ON; when PIN code is locked; or when UIM is not installed,
buzzer sound is activated, but a voice call or Location
request is not made to the emergency number.
・
If the switch is turned ON out of service area, a voice call or
Location request is made when FOMA terminal is within the
service area.
・
When the switch is turned ON while making/receiving a call
(calling) or talking, the operations below are performed :
- If "Alarm+Voice call" is set and the other party is an emergency
receiver, making/receiving call or talking is continued, and buzzer
sound is activated at step tone (the volume turns up in steps). At this
time, only an incoming voice call is automatically answered. After
making/receiving call or talking has ended, voice call is made to
another emergency number, if any.
- If "Alarm+Voice call" is set and the other party is not an emergency
receiver, making/receiving call or talking is disconnected, and
buzzer sound is activated at step tone, and voice call is made to an
emergency number.
- If "Alarm only" is set, making/receiving call or talking is continued,
and buzzer sounds at step tone.
- If the other party is an emergency call (110, 119 or 118), making call
or talking is continued without activating buzzer sound. After
making call or talking ends, buzzer sounds. If "Alarm+Voice call" is
set, voice call is made to an emergency number.
・
If the switch is turned ON during execution of another
function, that function is terminated (or may be terminated
without saving the currently edited or operated data).
・
The Safety alarm is available in Public mode, Silent mode,
All lock, Lock on close or Personal data lock.
・
In Self mode, the Self mode is canceled, and a voice call or
Location request is made.
