Group setting
Setting group
For FOMA terminal phonebook, adding/deleting groups,
setting incoming/outgoing operation by the group and
changing the order are available. For UIM phonebook,
only the group name can be changed.

Up to 10 two-byte (20 one-byte) characters can be
entered.
･
For UIM phonebook, 10 two-byte (21 one-byte)
characters can be entered. Up to 10 characters can
be entered when one- and two-byte characters are
both used or one-byte katakana is included.
Phonebook search
Making calls using phonebook
A call can be made simply by calling up the phonebook
entry from the FOMA terminal phonebook or UIM
phonebook for the party to call.

In Privacy mode (when Phonebook & Logs is "Hide set
contact"), the phonebook entries or groups with secret
attribute cannot be searched. The same applies to
Quick dial, Quick mail, Headset quick-dial and Search
message.

Search the phonebook
The previously used phonebook (FOMA terminal
phonebook or UIM phonebook) appears.

The phonebook list of Show all names appears by
default. The setting can be changed to display the
search method frequently used.
