When "Melody" or "Movie ringtone" is selected,
select the ring alert.

For chat mail ring tone, "Sync msg alert" can be
selected. When "Sync msg alert" is selected, mail
settings are used for operation.

Ring alert priority
When setting ring alerts for multiple functions, they
sound in order of the priority below :

Incoming calls melody setting of Multi number

Alert by contact of the FOMA terminal phonebook

Alert/image by group of the FOMA terminal
phonebook

Call ring alert/V.phone ring alert/Mail ring alert/Call
alert/Videophone alert/Mail alert

When the other party does not notify the caller ID, the
ring alert for voice call depends on Anonymous caller.
A ring alert for videophone call is according to the
settings of V.phone ring alert/Videophone alert.
・
In the cases below, the image for incoming call is used
as "Standard image" in the settings of Call alert and
V.phone ring alert. Note that the image can be changed
in Call alert (Incoming call) or Videophone alert
(Videophone receiving).
- When changing ring alert from movie/i-motion containing
images to movie/i-motion containing only sound (i-motion
without image such as the one containing only singing voice of
a singer) or melody
- When setting movie/i-motion containing only sound (i-motion
without image such as the one containing only voice of a singer)
to ring alert after setting movie/i-motion containing only
images or Flash graphics to the incoming image

such as ring alert and alarm sound

The volumes below can be changed :
Call alert volume :
Set the volume of call alert for voice
and videophone calls. It is also reflected to Alarm
volume of Call cost limit.
Mail/Msg alert vol. :
Set the volume of ring alert for
mail, chat mail and MessageR/F.
GPS alert volume :
Set volume of GPS alert sound
(Position location, Notify location, Location request).
Listen volume :
Set the volume of incoming voice and
videophone calls. The volume of play sound of
answer machines or voice memos and sound effect
of pasting stamp or text to an image depend on this
setting.

Alarm clock sound :
Set the volume of sound to be
emitted when volume is set to "Phone setting" from
the Set sound screen of Alarm clock. The sound
volume of Countdown timer depends on this setting.
Schedule reminder :
Set the volume of alarm for Alarm
on time or Alarm in advance for Schedule reminder.

Operation sound :
Set the volume of Keypad sound,
terminal open/close sound and Wheel sound.
Melody effect sound :
Set the volume of Melody.
Settings to this function are also reflected to the

a melody attached to mail or MessageR/F depends
on this setting.
