Installing the FOMA Communication Setting File
(Drivers)
The following procedure explains how to install the FOMA communication setting file (drivers).

Before installing the FOMA communication setting file, make sure to quit any Windows software
running on your computer.*

When installing FOMA communication setting file, be sure to log on as Administrator. If you attempt to
install the file with another account, an error may occur. Contact your PC's manufacturer or Microsoft
for information on how to set Administrator privileges on your PC.

You can download the FOMA communication setting file from the DOCOMO website.

Quit any Windows software, including anti-virus, that resides on the task bar.
To close software that resides on task bar, click an icon on the task bar and click "

" (Close) or

" (Finish).

Start up Windows and insert the
“CD-ROM for N-06B” in the CD-
ROM drive of your PC
This screen will automatically appear.
If not, refer to the third bullet (

) in "Operational
environment" (p.4).

Click “

” (Datalink software/
software for various settings)

Click the in-use OS name under
“FOMA
通信設定ファイル（
USB
ドライバ）
” (FOMA communication setting
file (USB driver))
A folder that contains the FOMA communication setting file (USB driver) will automatically appear.

Double-click the displayed folder
The folder name differs depending on the OS.
For Windows 7 (32bit):Win7_32
For Windows 7 (64bit):Win7_64
For Windows Vista (32bit):WinVista32
For Windows Vista (64bit):WinVista64
For Windows XP:Win_XP

Double-click “n06b_is.exe”
It is displayed “n06b_is” depending on the setting of your PC.

When the User Account Control screen appears, click “

” (Yes) for
Windows 7 and click “
続行
” (Continue) for Windows Vista
For Windows XP, User Account Control screen will not be displayed.
