Prepare the FOMA terminal and the FOMA USB Cable with Charge Function 02 (option).
Check the billing plan or the discount service and the contract contents with Internet service
provider.
When a connection software program other than “DOCOMO Connection Manager” is installed, set it
not to start automatically.

When installing DOCOMO Connection Manager, be sure to do so from a user account that has computer
administrator permissions. Installing from another account might result in an error.
<For Windows 7 and Windows Vista>
An administrator account is required. If you are logged onto a non-administrator account, a window
prompting you to enter an administrator user name and password appears during installation.
<For Windows XP>
Log on as a user that is a member of the Administrators group or is a computer administrator.
