PIN1 Code/ PIN2 Code
For the docomo mini UIM card, you can set two security
codes, namely the PIN1 code and PIN2 code.
The PIN1 code is a four-to-eight digit number for checking
the user each time the docomo mini UIM card is inserted
into the FOMA terminal or each time the FOMA terminal is
turned on, to prevent the unauthorized use the docomo mini
UIM card by a third party.
The PIN2 code is a four-to-eight digit number for executing
Reset Total Charge, etc.
When the PIN1 Code/PIN2 Code entry display appears,
enter your four-to-eight digit PIN1 code/PIN2 code and
press
O

).
If you enter a wrong PIN1 code/PIN2 code three times in
succession, the FOMA terminal locks and cannot be used.

You need to set “PIN1 code entry set” to “ON” to change
the PIN1 code in advance.
PIN Unblocking Key (PUK)
The PIN unblocking key (PUK) is the eight-digit number for
releasing the blocked PIN1 code and PIN2 code.
You cannot change this code by yourself.
If you enter a wrong PIN unblocking key (PUK) 10 times in
succession, the docomo mini UIM card is locked. In that
case contact one of docomo Shops.
PIN1 Code Entry Set
You can set the FOMA terminal not to work unless you enter
your PIN1 code when turning on the power.
