The scanning completion tone does not sound
while in Manner mode.

Handwritten characters cannot be recognized. If
the text is faxed or copied, fonts are decorated,
character spaces are not fixed, or fonts and
background cannot be easily distinguished,
recognition may fail. Also, the FOMA terminal may
not recognize the text correctly depending on the
ambient lighting.
