Selecting Actions for Calls
Received During a Call
<Select in-call function>
Set how to handle voice calls, videophone calls and
64K data communications incoming during a call
when you have subscribed to the “Voice Mail”, “Call
Forwarding” or “Call Waiting” service.
z
If you have not subscribed to “Voice Mail”, “Call
Forwarding” or “Call Waiting” service, you cannot
answer calls incoming during a call.
z
To use “Incoming Call Mng”, set “Set in-call arrival”
to “Active”.

regardless of the “Call Waiting” and “Call Forwarding”
service settings.
Call Rejection

Reject voice and videophone
calls and 64K data communications received during
a call.
Answer
……
Use “Call Waiting” when activated, if a
voice call arrives during a voice call. During a voice
call (“Call Waiting” is set to “Deactivate”),
videophone call or 64K data communication, the
following operations can be performed:
• You can end the current voice call, videophone call
or 64K data communication, and answer an
incoming call or communication.
• You can use the function menu to manually handle
a voice call, videophone call or 64K data
communication incoming during a call.

• If the “Voice Mail” service or “Call Forwarding”
service is active, the settings apply.
Set in-call arrival
Activate/Deactivate the function setting selected in
“Incoming Call Mng” or check the setting.

When the types of the current call
and incoming call are not the same
If you receive a videophone call or 64K data
communication during a voice call, if you receive a
voice call or 64K data communication during a
videophone call, or if you receive a voice or
videophone call during 64K data communication,
follow the procedure below to end your current call or
64K data communication to answer the incoming call.
<Example: To end the current videophone call to
answer an incoming voice call>

You hear a double-beep and the
voice call ringing screen appears
When you receive a 64K data communication,
the double-beep does not sound.
