When sending a SMS to a user of a roaming
operator overseas and a character contained in
SMS is not supported by the other party’s mobile
phone, the character may not be properly
displayed. See international service guides such as
“Mobile Phone User’s Guide [International
Services]” for details.
●
Inquiries overseas
For inquiries overseas such as lost, stolen, charge
accumulation or malfunction, refer to “For lost, stolen,
charge accumulation, etc. overseas” or “Repairs
overseas” on the back cover of this manual. Note that
you must pay communication charges incurred after it
is lost or stolen.
z
For international call access code and international
prefix number for the universal number, see the
DOCOMO “International Services Website”.

number (Table 2)
* Note that, in many cases, you cannot use a universal
number when making a call from your mobile phone,
public phones, your hotel telephone, etc.
* The universal number can only be used in countries and
regions shown above.
* If you make a call from a hotel, the hotel may bill
telephone charges. (You are responsible for the
charges.) Please make the inquiry at the hotel before
making a call.
Use in the local area
Your FOMA terminal is available in the 3G, GPRS,
and GSM roaming area. When the power is turned on
after you arrive overseas, a local roaming operator is
automatically set.
●

connected appears on the standby screen.
