Initialising the device
Follow the steps below.
Please note! As soon as the supply voltage has been connected, the
DOM devices are ready for operation. The DOM devices have a real-
time clock which is used for generating events and managing daily and
weekly schedules directly (only when ENiQ
®
AccessManagement
software is used). In the event of a power failure, the clock continues to
run correctly for up to a further 48 hours. This is only the case if the DOM
device had been connected to voltage permanently for 5 hours before
the power failure. Check the time and date after a power failure.
1. Set up the voltage supply.
ENiQ AccessManager® Compact & HiSec, ENiQ AccessManager® Terminal
Compact & HiSec and ENiQ AccessManager® ITT:
The lower LED briefly flashes green three times, emitting an acoustic
signal each time. Then the upper LED is lit red permanently.
Connected ENiQ
®
Passive Readers:
The upper LED briefly flashes red three times, emitting an acoustic signal each
time. Then both LEDs flash violet long once, also with an acoustic signal. Finally
both LEDs flash red and violet alternately.
Connected ENiQ
®
Module Reader:
The status LED of the Module Reader flashes every second as long as no
connection has been set up to the AccessManager or the AccessManager is
being re-initialised.
Please note! If the upper LED of the ENiQ AccessManager®
Compact & HiSec, ENiQ AccessManager® Terminal Compact &
HiSec and ENiQ AccessManager® ITT should flash three times and
then remain on permanently in red after the voltage supply has been
connected, the date/time are not correct.
2. For initialisation, hold the
master card
directly in front of the DOM device
