4. Cleaning
•
Before cleaning a delicate surface (carpet, fabric, etc.), test the appliance on a hidden surface.
Wait for the steam to take effect and check that there is no colour change or deformity.
Using the accessories:
•
The rectangular brush is suitable for large surface areas (floors).
•
Use it with the cloth.
•
The concentrated jet nozzle can be used with or without the extension tubes. The concentrated
steam jet increases the cleaning power to remove any encrusted dirt.
•
The round nylon brush connects to the concentrated jet nozzle. It is suitable for cleaning small,
very soiled surfaces and bathrooms.
•
The fabric furnishings brush is fitted with the cloth, with or without extension tubes, and can be
used to remove dust from textile surfaces (sofas and cushions, etc.)
Note: On cold windows, pre-heat the surface initially by spraying the steam thirty centimetres
away from the glass.
5. Filling the water tank during use
•
Fill the water tank when the steam flow rate decreases.
•
Always wait for the appliance to stop generating steam and ensure that the heater is no longer
pressurised before releasing the safety button (a special protective device prevents the safety
button from being released if there is still pressure in the heater).
Filling methods: Press the steam generator button to spray the steam until the heater is empty.
Release the control and open the safety button. Steam may be released on opening.
•
Fill the water tank as shown in 2.
6. Switch off the device
Place the On/Off button in the Off position.
Unplug from the electric socket, leave the appliance to cool and put away.
