Replacing the ultraviolet lamp and the nano-mesh divider

This is how to replace the ultraviolet lamp and the nano-mesh divider:

Unplug the device from the electrical outlet.
➤
Unscrew the four screws on the corners of the bottom side.
➤
Remove the cover.
➤
Let the device cool down for 5 minutes.
➤
Pull the ultraviolet lamp (fig.
1
3, page 3) out of the lamp socket
(fig.
1
5, page 3).

NOTICE!
Do not touch the new ultraviolet lamp with you bare hands as the
oil you leave on it will shorten its service life.
➤
Put the new Dometic ultraviolet lamp into the socket (fig.
1
5, page 3).
Insert the pins on the lamp firmly into the socket.
➤
Place a new maintenance sticker with the current date over the old one
so that you know when the ultraviolet lamp needs to be replaced.
➤
Lift the nano-mesh divider (fig.
1
2, page 3) out of the slots.
➤
Insert the new nano-mesh divider lengthways into the slots.
It does not matter which side faces the ultraviolet lamp.
➤
Clean the device if necessary (see chapter “Cleaning and caring for
Breathe Easy™” on page 27).
➤
Put on the cover.
➤
Fasten the cover with the four screws.
➤
Connect the device to the electrical outlet.

WARNING!
Eye damage may result from directly viewing the light produced by
these lamps. To reduce the risk of exposure to UV radiation, take
UV-radiation protective measures for personnel during servicing.

Check that the ultraviolet lamp lights up.
You can see a blue glow through the vents.
