Filling-in denatured alcohol

Warning! Danger of injury!
Never pour fuel through the burner openings in top of the stove
(fig.

, page 2).
Overfilling, spilt alcohol and hot objects can cause severe burns.
➤
Ensure all burners are turned off:
– operation with denatured alcohol: turn the control knob to the Off
position
– operation at 220–240 V mains (
C100 and C200 only
):
switch heating elements off

Ensure the stove is cooled down to room temperature.

Taking out the canister
In operating mode, the flexible catch (fig.

1, page 5) is locked in the cutout
on the safety lever (fig.

To release the fuel tank, push the catch (fig.

1, page 5) in the direction
of the arrow and turn the lever (fig.

2, page 5) clockwise (fig.

When the catch (fig.

1, page 5) is vertical, push it in the direction of the
arrow.

The canister is released.

Take out the canister.
Filling with denatured alcohol
➤
Check canister opening ensuring there’s neither fire nor glow.
➤
Make sure the canister is cool enough to be held in your bare hand before
filling.

Hold the canister tilted down (fig.

, page 6).
➤
Fill the denatured alcohol through the wire mesh into the opening of the
canisters.
The maximum capacity per canister must not exceed 1.2 l.
