PROBLEM
CAUSE
SOLUTION
Smoke comes out
of ventilation grille
during baking.
Some ingredients remained
on the heating element after
first time use; remains of oil
on the heating element.
Remove the plug from the electric
socket and clean the heating ele-
ment. Take care. When baking dur-
ing first time use without content
leave the lid open.
The bread crust
is too thick at the
bottom.
The bread was left warm for
too long in the baking tin,
resulting in excessive water
loss.
Next time remove the bread earlier
without keeping it warm.
It is difficult to re-
move the bread.
The kneading hook stays
attached to the shaft in the
baking tin.
Fill the baking tin with hot water
after you have removed the bread.
Allow the kneading hook to soak
for 10 minutes, then remove and
clean it.
The ingredients do
no mix properly and
the baking result is
poor.
You selected the wrong bak-
ing programme.
You opened the lid several
times and the bread is dry
and doesn’t have a brown
crust.
As a result of excessive resis-
tance the kneading hook is
unable to knead and rotate.
Select the correct baking pro-
gramme.
Do not open the lid when the rising
process reaches the last stage.
Check the opening of the knead-
ing hook, remove the baking tin
and switch the machine on without
anything in it. If the problem persists
get in touch with the after-sales
service department.
“H: HH” appears on
the display after
you press on the
START/STOP button.
The temperature in the
breadmaker is too high to
bake bread.
Press on the START/STOP button,
remove the plug from the electric
socket, take the baking tin out of the
appliance and let the breadmaker
cool off with the lid open
The motor makes
a noise, but the
dough is not
kneaded.
The baking tin has been
placed incorrectly or the
volume of the dough is too
large for kneading.
Check to see if the baking tin has
been correctly placed and check
whether or not the dough was pre-
pared according to the recipe and all
ingredients accurately weighed and
measured.
The bread is too
large and presses
against the lid.
Too much yeast or flour, or
the water/room temperature
is too high.
Check the temperature and reduce
the amount of ingredients that
cause the problem.
