Preparing the DC connections
Warning
Risk of death by electrocution!
• Multi-contact MC4 DC plugs are specified for the DC connections (not included in delivery).
• Observe the warning notes in Section 8.1, p. 52.
Caution
Danger of damage to the inverter. Do not connect the DC connections with the wrong polarity.
1. Wire the DC connections (Multi-contact MC4) according to the manufacturer's instructions.
2. If legally prescribed (e.g. France), plug in the safety sleeves according to the manufacturer's
instructions (Fig. 6; safety sleeve is not included in delivery).

Connecting the inverter and switching on the AC power
Warning
Risk of death by electrocution! Observe the warning notes in Section 8.1, p. 52.
1. If necessary, establish a data connection:
–
Connect the inverter and bus master using the
data connection cable.
–
Manually switch on the termination (slide
switch) at the last inverter on the bus.
2. Connect the DC cables to the inverter with the
correct polarity. Push the Multi-contact MC4 DC
plug into the socket on the inverter until it audibly
clicks into place.
3. Insert the AC plug into the socket on the inverter
until it audibly clicks into place; see Fig. on the
left.
4. Switch on the AC line circuit breaker. The start
page for initial commissioning is shown on the
display.
5. Perform initial commissioning and switch on the
