We use telematics data for the following purposes:

To fulfill customer support agreements, perform maintenance and repairs, and deliver rental
equipment or parts (telematics data may be required for these services),

To monitor and manage equipment health and efficiency,
•
To continuously improve the user-experience and efficient use of the machine that you operate and to
improve the performance of our telematics services,

To conduct market research,
•
To inform machine owners of specific promotions and special offers, and
•
To safeguard our legal interests

We process your personal data (i) on the basis of our legitimate interest for the purposes set out in Article 6,
(ii) to comply with our legal obligations, or (iii) to comply with any reasonable request from competent law
enforcement agents or representatives, judicial authorities, governmental agencies or bodies, including
competent data protection authorities.

You have the right to request information about the personal data we process about you and to access such
personal data. In particular, you can request information about the purposes of the processing, the
categories of the personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data are disclosed, the planned
storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, deletion, restriction or revocation of processing, the
existence of a right to lodge a complaint, the origin of your data, in so far as not collected by us, and also
about the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and where appropriate meaningful
information about to details thereof. You have the right to ask that any personal data pertaining to you that
are inaccurate, are corrected free of charge. You have the right to object to the processing of your personal
data when they are processed on the basis of legitimate interest and in so far as there are grounds arising
from your particular situation or when you object to direct marketing. Further, you have the right to request
that the processing of your personal data be restricted or that your personal data be deleted if this data is no
longer required in the light of the purposes outlined above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint to
the competent data protection authority.
