4.
After disassembly as shown in (Figure 88), replace filter
(Figure 89) with a new one.
5.
After installing new filter, assemble fill cap in reverse order.
DEF (AdBlue®) Filter - Replace
1.
Open the DEF (AdBlue
®
) tank side cover.
2.
Place a suitable container underneath.
3.
Unscrew the filter cover. Use a 46 mm socket.
4.
Lift out the filter cover and filter.
5.
Replace the filter and check the O-ring and insulation.
6.
Wipe clean with lukewarm water before you refit the filter
cover to remove any crystals.
7.
Screw on the filter cover again. Tightening torque 80 N.m
(59 ft lb).
