Reclining the Child Restraint and
Booster Seat
For fully reclined position
pull out on red recline
handle and push top of
child restraint system
down.
For upright position, pull
out on red recline handle
and pull top of child
restraint system up.

To adjust armrests pull out
on arm and move armrest
up or down. Make sure
armrests lock into place
after adjustment.
Adjusting Armrests
Vehicles manufactured today already have the tether
anchor hardware installed in the vehicle. Refer to your
owner’s manual for locations. For older vehicles contact
your dealer or the manufacturer for locations and
hardware installation.
Adjusting the Tether Strap
Fasten child restraint
tether hook to tether
anchor in vehicle.
Tighten tether strap by
pulling on loose end of
tether strap.
Loosen tether strap by
lifting up on tether
adjuster.
Storing tether strap:
When tether is not in use, secure strap and tether hook
between the child restraint base and vehicle seat.

A loose tether strap and tether hook can
result in serious injuries.
