Identification of the lowest serial number
The serial number of the locks is a hexadecimal number.
The decimal number system uses 10 digits: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
The hexadecimal number system uses 16 digits: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, A, B, C, F
The conversion of the hexadecimal digits A ... F to the decimal numeral system corresponds to:
A equals to 10 and F equals to 15.
For the identification of the lowest serial number of a lock, the serial number must be read
from left to right and must be compared with the serial number of other locks.
