Use
It is important to read these instructions carefully before taking the Canopy on
your first trip.
Preparation
o
Before using the Butterbredt Cotton Canvas Canopy on its first camping trip, it
is recommended for all users to assemble this canopy at home to familiarize
yourself with the setup process. Make sure all the components of your tent are
present and in working order.
o
It is recommended to season the cotton canvas fabric material of the
Butterbredt Cotton Canvas Canopy for maximum waterproofness. To do this,
spray the assembled canopy fabric lightly with water and allow it to dry
completely. This process is only required once.
o
Waterproofing the canvas canopy is recommended after seasoning. While our
canvas fabric naturally repels water and is treated from factory, it is
recommended that all users lightly treat the tent with a
SILICONE
based
waterproofing compound. Other types of waterproofing compounds may affect
the breathability of the canvas material.
