CAUTION: Before any maintenance or repair is attempted, the compressed air line
to the pump should be disconnected and all air pressure allowed to bleed from the
pump. Disconnect all intake, discharge and air lines. Drain the pump by turning it
upside down and allowing any fluid to flow into a suitable container. Be aware of
hazardous effects of contact with your process fluid.

air
distribution system. Proprietary composite seals reduce the co efficient of friction
and allow the P400 and PX400 to run lube-free. Constructed of acetal, polypropylene
or aluminum, the Pro-Flo
®
air distribution system is designed to perform in on/off,
non-freezing, non-stalling, tough-duty applications.
Step 1
Using a 3/16" Hex wrench, loosen
air valve bolts.
Step 2
Remove muffler plate and air valve
bolts from air valve assembly
exposing muffler gasket for
inspection. Replace if necessary.
Step 3
Lift away air valve assembly
and remove air valve gasket for
inspection. Replace if necessary.
