Specific maintenance instructions and replacement of spare parts
When the mask is disassembled in order to be cleaned and disinfected, it has to be
reassembled following the same procedure of spare parts replacement unless differently
indicated. Make sure that all component parts are correctly assembled, paying attention to
not damage all component parts during these operations.
10.1
Replacement of visor
Loosen the two screws on both sides of the frame paying attention not to lose the bolts.
Remove the frame and then the visor from the groove of its seal. Check that the groove is
not dirty or damaged and, if necessary, replace it. If you are using a C607 CL3, C607 SP/A,
C607 SP/A ESA, C607 SP/A ATEX, C607 SP/A TP check that the heat protective element of
the frame is not damaged and replace it, if necessary. Place the new visor on the groove of
the facepiece seal in order that the markings at the centre of the visor edge and the ones
on the faceblanks coincide. In order to reassemble easily the visor, moisten with water the
groove of the facepiece seal, from the inside, and the frame from the outside. Join the two
halves of the frame and screw tightly. For better protection when not in use place the visor
protective film. For model C607 SP/A MD contact the D.P.I. s.r.l. maintenance service for the
replacement of that component.
10.2
Replacement of threaded connector
Remove the clamping ring without damaging the faceblank. Take the threaded connector to
be replaced out from the facepiece and insert the new one in order that the centring guides
of the rubber piece and the threaded connector slots coincide. Remind to connect it with the
inner mask in the same way as it was before disassembling. Reassemble the clamping ring
and tighten it again with a special tool in order to insure a perfect leak tightness.

spanner easily commercially available. Pull the speech module and its gasket out of the
housing. Check that the components are not dirty and, if necessary, clean them. Insert the
