10. Gas pipe checks
10.1 Selection of gas pipe checks
Selectable functions are:
Tightness test
= semiautomatic tightness test
Leak measurement
= leak rate measurement
Observe national and international regulations
concerning the handling of explosive gases!
10.2 Semiautomatic tightness test according to DVGW-TRGI 2008
(not EM200plus with heating check or 4 Pa test)
The regulated stabilisation and measuring time for the different
volumes of the gas pipes are displayed.
With
(START)
the stabilisation and measuring time of
the marked volume will be adopted.
Connect the gas pipe with the pressure inlet (+) of the
instrument.
Connect a hand pump and a valve with the gas pipe and
increase the pressure to a little bit more than 155 mbar.
The instrument recognizes the pressure and with
(CONTINUE)
it
asks to close the valve.
