Transmitter handle
Fault
Cause
Remedy
Image on receiver unit is snowy.
Transmitter/camera is off, on wrong channel,
or malfunctioning.
Turn transmitter and camera on or change
channels. If the receiver unit has the same
symptons, contact Dräger Safety.
No image on the display.
Transmitter or receiver unit is switched off.
Make sure that transmitter and receiver unit
are switched on.
The display of the receiver unit remains black,
although the receiver unit is switched on.
Camera or transmitter does not function
correctly.
Make sure that both camera and transmitter
are operational. If the receiver unit shows the
same symptoms, contact Dräger Safety.
Image on receiver unit is not clear.
Excess interference
Make sure that both the camera with
transmitter and receiver unit are within close
proximity to one another (approximately two
feet) and are on the same channel.
Confirm that the receiver unit is not too close
to a wireless network, a microwave oven or
any other signals that might be sharing the
same frequency. If the receiver unit has the
same symptoms, contact Dräger Safety.
Wrong channel.
Change channel on transmitter or receiver
unit.
Transmitter does not change channels.
Transmitter is not working.
Contact Dräger Safety.
Screen is dim on receiver unit.
Low video signal or bad screen.
Contact Dräger Safety or your monitor/PC
supplier.
Range of system is low.
Transmitter or receiver unit on incorrect
channel.
Change channel on transmitter or receiver.
Transmitter does not turn on.
Bad or no electrical connection between
thermal imaging camera and transmitter
handle.
Make sure that the transmitter handle is
correctly attached to the thermal imaging
camera. The thumb wheel must be screwed
tightly.
