Temperature measurement:
The thermal imaging camera constantly measures the temperature
of the infrared scenery by analyzing the signal in the middle screen
element marked by the reticle.

ThermalScan™ feature:
The ThermalScan feature enables the firefighter to electronically
enhance the fire scene by coloring the screen yellow, enabling
hotter/warmer objects to be easily distinguished from cooler
objects. This feature is disabled when the camera switches to the
firefighting mode.

Crawling handle with integrated transmitter (transmitter handle)
This handle is required for wireless transmission of the thermal
images.
The transmitter handle is for part 90 licensed or export use only. It
may be operated only with a Part 90 license issued by the FCC.
The user is responsible for operating the equipment in compliance
with FCC rules. Operation of the transmitter handle without a valid
FCC license could result in the issuance of fines to the user, or the
seizure of the equipment.
NOTICE
Before commissioning the thermal imaging camera with transmitter
system, check whether the fire brigades and emergency medical
services in your region have or need a license for the use of a high
frequency transmitter system with these frequencies.

The above description applies to both Dräger UCF 1600 and
Dräger UCF 3200. The difference between the camera models is that
the Dräger UCF 1600 is equipped with a 160x120 pixel micro-
bolometer thermal detector while the Dräger UCF 3200 is equipped
with a 320x240 pixel micro-bolometer thermal detector.
Intended Use
The thermal imaging camera is a tool to aid in fire fighting
applications and search and rescue operations where low or poor
visibility may be created by low lighting conditions or smoke.
