Controlling Internet Explorer
You can use Dragon NaturallySpeaking to control Internet Explorer and
browse the Web by voice. (To use this feature, you must have Internet
Explorer version 4.0 or later installed.)
You can control Internet Explorer by voice only if you chose to install
Internet Explorer support (a default option) when you installed Dragon
NaturallySpeaking. (You’ll see an item named “NaturalWeb” on the
Dragon NaturallySpeaking Programs menu if Internet Explorer support
is installed.) If you didn’t install Internet Explorer support, you can run
the Setup program again and select the “NaturalWeb for use with
Internet Explorer support” option.
When Dragon NaturallySpeaking and Internet Explorer are running,
you can use voice commands to:

Go to any Web page on the Favorites menu
■
Enter a Web address (URL) in the Address bar
■
Go back or forward to the previous Web page
■
Follow links (words, buttons, and images)
■
Scroll in a Web page
■
Select check boxes and other options
■
Enter text in a text box (such as a “Search” box)
Follow these steps whenever you want to use Dragon NaturallySpeaking
with Internet Explorer.
To use Internet Explorer by voice:

Start Dragon NaturallySpeaking. If Internet Explorer is running, close it
first.
Always start Dragon NaturallySpeaking before you start Internet Explorer.

Start Internet Explorer. (You can start it by saying “Start Internet
Explorer.”)
