Deleting text and undoing actions
Deleting the next or previous paragraph
For more information about these commands, see “Deleting the next or

TO
Scratch That
Erase the last thing you said. You can say “Scratch
That” more than once to keep erasing previous words
or phrases.

Resume With
[text]
Back up to a specific word or words, so you can
continue dictating from that point.
(For more
information, see “Backing up as you dictate” on
page 83.)
Delete That*
* You can use these commands only when you’re dictating in the Dragon NaturallySpeaking
window or in any of the programs listed on page 129 of this appendix.
Delete selected text.

Undo That/
Undo Last Action
Undo the last action.
Backspace
Press the Backspace key. To press it more than once,
say “Backspace 2,” “Backspace 3,” and so on (up to
20).
