Required Action
Steps
Select the priority bits type to
use
Sets the QoS system to use priority bits provided by standard VLAN
frames, Super VLAN (Q-in-Q) inner or outer tags, mpls exp, or dscp
priority bits. This applies to all configured ports.
Sequence:
set cos type
[cos_vlan/cos_qinq_itag/cos_qinq_otag/cos_dscp/cos_mplsexp]
press Enter
The system responds:
CoS type is set to :
cos_vlan/cos_qinq_itag/cos_qinq_otag/cos_dscp/cos_mplsexp
Note: cos_vlan uses the priority tag of standard VLAN frames
cos_qinq_itag uses the inner priority tag of a Q-in-Q frame
cos_qinq_otag uses the outer priority tag of a Q-in-Q frame
cos_dscp uses the 3 bit priority information in the DSCP field
of the IP header (also referred to as ToS).
cos_mplsexp uses the 3bits of the EXP field in the outer
MPLS header of the frame
