COOLING SYSTEM
WARNING! Never add coolant into the radiator of an overheated engine unless
absolutely necessary.
IMPORTANT!
Cooling system must be deaerated and filled with the engine running and with the
stabilized engine water temperature, i.e. water temperature gauge in the green area.
5.8.10. CLEANING THE RADIATOR
Remove all bugs and dirt from the radiator core, using air or water under pressure. Direct the flow l
the core, opposite to the normal direction of air flow. The following should be cleaned:
n
the radiator,
n
the air conditioner cooler mounted on the engine fan shroud in the engine compartment, on the
right side of the engine compartment, if equipped,
n
the fuel cooler of QSK-19C engine located directly under the fan - for QSK 19C engine only.
Access to the radiator is gained after removing bolts 1, Fig. 5.25 and lifting the grill mounted on gas
springs.

5.9. DRIVE AXLES
WARNING: Prior to servicing the machine block securely the wheels to prevent
accidental moving of the machine.
5.9.1. CHECKING THE OIL LEVEL
IMPORTANT:
Both front and rear axles are checked, drained and filled in the same manner.
1. Position the machine on level ground. Move the machine until the planetary plug (as shown in
Fig. 5.28) is on the horizontal center line of the axle.
2. Apply the parking brake. Let the machine sit long enough for the oil in the axle and planetary to
level out.
