lock nut (6) is snug.

note: The base of the Pilot Drill (5) has a round and flat edge. Make sure the

flat edge is facing the lock screw on the Mandrel (4) and make sure the Pilot Drill (5) extends 1/4”
beyond the teeth of the Hole Saw.

note: always read and adhere to all instructions and safety

warnings made by the manufacturer of the power drill being used. Insert the drill bit assembly
into a power drill (not included) and line the Hole Saw up with the large hole on the Easy Guide

the other side of the door. Once again line up the Hole Saw up with the large hole on the Easy Guide
Template (1), use the hole made by the Pilot Drill (5), and complete the drilling. See

figure 3.

Remove the 2-1/8” Hole Saw (2) from the power drill (not included) and replace it  with the 1” Hole
Saw (3). Tighten the Mandrel lock nut (6) and insert the Pilot Drill (5) into the power drill (not included).
Again make sure the Pilot Drill (5) extends 1/4” past the teeth of the Hole Saw. Line up the Hole Saw
with the small hole in the edge of the Easy Guide Template (1) and drill through to the large face
hole drilled in the door.  See

 figure 4.
