Adjusting backrest
The tension of the backrest cover can be adjusted via po-
sition 1 and 2. (Picture 12).

Adjusting and removing armrest
When delivered, the armrest are already mounted to the
wheelchair. The armrests are replaceable. Depending on
your requests, the armrests can be set as short or long
armrests. To adjust, loosen the screws on the bottom and
adjust the armrest to the desired position. (Picture 13+14).
Tighten the screws again!

To fold back the armrest, you must push the lever on the
front of the armrest and pull back the armrest at the same
time. (Picture 15+16).

Adjusting and using hand brake (optional)
When delivered, the hand brake is adjusted properly for
the accompanying person. If the braking effect isn’t strong
enough the adjusting screw may be loosened or tightened
for less braking effect, loosen the lock nut before adjus-
ting the braking effect as explained. Make sure to tighten
the lock nut after adjusting, hold the adjusting screw with
pliers. (Picture 17).

In order to brake the wheelchair, the accompanying per-
son must pull the braking handles towards the pushing
handles.

You can lock the braking handles by pushing the lock flap
down with your finger until it locks, in order to lock the
brakes for example: for parking, to unlock and release the
brakes, simply pull the flap back. (Picture 18+17).
If you want to get up from the wheelchair you must
activate the fixing brakes additional to the hand
brake.
Activate parking brakes and use
When delivered, the fixing brakes are correctly adjusted
to the configuration condition. If you changed the position
of the wheel, the position of the brake might need to be
adjusted as well.
To do so, remove the screws on the bottom of the bra-
ke (see picture 20) and move the whole unit, so that the
space between the pivot bolt and the wheel is as big as 10
mm. Tighten the two screws for an optimal setting.
Make sure, that the screws are inserted and tighte-
ned properly!
Push the brake lever forwards in order to apply and activa-
te the brakes until it engages. Pull the lever towards you in
order to loosen the brake. (Picture 21+22).
Make sure the fixing brakes are locked by moving the
wheelchair.
For a comfortable transfer from and to the wheelchair,
the parking brakes can be folded. To do so, pull the le-
ver upwards and then folde it. (Picture 23+24).
